Summer Camps

Searching for the perfect summer activity?  We have offered this popular summer riding program since 1997!  At our week-long summer camps, students will have plenty of saddle time including 2 lessons each day.  Our first and primary goal is to teach every student fundamental horse safety.  In addition they will learn about many aspects of horsemanship from leading a horse, grooming, saddling, feeding, tack care, stable chores, and more. Our camps are offered Monday thru Friday during the summer every other week (normally 5 weeks) from 9 am to 3:30 pm with a half day option in the mornings or afternoons.  Our small camp size (normally 10 children maximum) allows us to provide individual attention to each student.

Join the Fun!

We also offer other fun activities like arts and crafts, finger painting on the horses,  building hay forts, fun horse learning contests, bareback riding and our very popular fishing contest. We offer a pizza party and horse show on the last day of each camp. Each student will have a chance to show off their new riding skills at the end of week horse show  and earn a ribbon!

Who Should Sign Up?

Summer camps are perfect for beginner riders looking for a great introduction to riding, and advanced riders seeking more time in the barn and in the saddle. We divide groups appropriately by age and ability and do our best to make sure each student has a chance to ride his or her favorite horse.

What to Expect

Students should come dressed to ride (boot with a heel and long pants) and must bring a water bottle and their own lunch. We keep a water cooler in the viewing room for thirsty riders, but students should bring plenty of water in a plastic bottle.  All students must ride with an ASTM approved helmet which is provided by Beracah Valley if you do not have your own.  All of our camp days include a prayer and bible study time!

    • Hi Carroll. Our camps are designed for all levels of riders from completed beginner to advanced. The camp flyer has all the camp dates and details. Camp would be perfect way to introduce your grandson to riding. Our camps are unique because we set aside time each camp day to pray and do a bible study together to learn more about the God who created these awesome animals. I will follow up with an email to you. Thanks
